- Swimsuit or wetsuit in winter
- T-shirt
- Windbreaker
- Closed shoes
- Hat + strap
- Sunglasses + strap
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Water 1.5 L / person
- Picnic
- Charged phone
- Mask and snorkel
- Dry bag 30 L (provided by rental company)
- Wearing a life jacket is mandatory on board the kayak (provided by rental company)
- You can navigate along the coast without limit BUT do not go beyond the large yellow buoys along the coast (300m limit)
- In rough seas, keep a safe distance from the shore
- If the wind pushes offshore, stay closer to the shore
- In case of difficulty, stay on the kayak; do not try to swim to shore. You will be much easier to spot from afar.
- In case of a problem (weather, fatigue), take shelter in a cove and wait for assistance
- A mobile phone improves your safety in case of an issue.
- Respect the navigation plan (destination, itinerary, schedule) agreed with the rental company
- Do not overestimate your strength; remember the return trip
